JFK is able to offer our students many extracurricular activities. 
Many of our activities are focused on further developing our students' academic interests.

These clubs and activities include:

• PJAS - Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science
• STEAM -Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics - Club & Summer Camp
• MATHCOUNTS - Helping students who love math
• Invention Convention - Work together to create a new product
• Forensics Team - Strives to improve the speaking skills of students
• 24 Math Club - students reinforce their math facts playing the game 24
• LitFest Book Club - explore the joy of reading in new and meaningful ways

Many of the other extracurricular activities are focused on helping our students to round out their education in the arts, develop their brains, and foster leadership qualities including:

• Music - Band & Chorus
• Musicals - Fall & Spring Musicals are performed as well as a Summer Camp
• Greenhouse - teach students sustainability, agriculture, and the simple rewards of gardening
• Student Government - a middle school extracurricular for students in grades 6–8 that focuses on leadership, service, and school involvement.
• Chess Club

As a Diocesan Catholic school associated with Immaculate Conception Parish, we are dedicated to helping live full lives in their faith and offer opportunities to volunteer and participate in our parish community.

Our faith-based activities include:

• Altar Serving - the special job of the acolyte or altar server is to help the other ministers
• Catholic Schools Week - a fun-filled, spiritual week celebrating what is special about Catholic schools
• Cross Walk - a spiritual journey with prayers, music and a time for reflection
• Living Stations of the Cross - plan, prepare, and reenact a moving play on the Passion of Jesus Christ
